The Carrboro Business Cooperative was formed in 1993 by a few designers and architects that were committed to creating an affordable and productive working atmosphere as well as encouraging a collaboration of creative ideas. The group evolved to be more “inclusive” of other types of business but the mission remains the same. We’ve expanded and now are home to 14 businesses that share a great office space at 103. W. Weaver.

What we share:
Copy machine /Fax machine /Weekly Cleaning /Common areas and waiting areas /Great art work by local artists /Supplies for common areas & equipment/ Bottled Water / Kitchenette - microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machines /There is a lift for handicap accessability/ Fast internet access is available for a less than $15 per month. Monthly eatin' meeting to catchup, get inspired and take care of Co-op business.

We operate on an agreement that will be responsible for our "portion" of the total costs based on our occupied space. That means that if we have a shortfall or windfall of operating income or loss that we share it in that way as well. Offices range in size from 100 square feet to 600 square feet and we've been known to play musical offices to accommodate an expanding business that needed more or less space. Rents range from $218-$1713/month and include all the above amenities.
